It’s easy to see why this technique is named using the French word for “woven” or “interlaced”: it may look like overlapping strips of knitting, but don’t be fooled! This scarf is actually knitted in one piece, no seaming required! How do you join the squares as you go? How do you keep your edges straight? And how do you achieve this crazy fun harlequin effect using one- yes, ONE- ball of yarn? In this class, we’ll cover everything you need to know to knit your own entrelac scarf or cowl, but be warned: once you get started, entrelac is hard to put down. Your new favorite words will be, “Just one more square!”
Skill Level: Beginner (experience with knits and purls required)
