Brioche Bootcamp

Warning: Brioche knitting may be highly addictive!
Join our special guest, FiberGnome founder, knitwear designer, project bag maker, and knitting instructor, Jenna for The Brioche Bootcamp — a fun, beginner-friendly workshop designed to help knitters finally tackle two-color brioche with confidence.
Known for her approachable teaching style and cheerful FiberGnome creations, Jenna loves helping knitters turn “I could never do that” into “Wait… I’m actually doing it!” Together, we’ll cast aside brioche fears and embrace all the squishy, lofty goodness this technique has to offer while beginning a cozy brioche cowl worked in the round.
During Bootcamp, we’ll cover:
- Working two-color brioche
- Understanding brioche stitches and terminology
- Brioche “Barks & Burps”
- Working in the round
- Fixing common brioche boo boos
- Tips and tricks for brioche success
While the cowl will not be completed during class, students will leave with the skills and confidence to continue their brioche journey long after Bootcamp ends. Come prepared to learn, laugh a little, and discover why brioche knitters never stop petting their projects.
Difficulty Level: This class is ideal for knitters who are comfortable knitting, purling, and reading their stitches, but are completely new to brioche. No prior brioche experience is necessary.
