DESCRIPTION:Learn about shearing\, wool production in the United States and the many fine wool and heritage breeds we raise at Valeyrie Farms.\nThe day will include: \n\nBreed education\nHands on skirting demo\nCarding and combing fiber\nScouring demos\nShearing demos\nSpinning demos\nLight refreshments\nFiber market\n\nThe farm features 2 beautiful decks for crafting and nature watching. \nPlease let us know if you’d be interested in a Scouring/fiber prep/workshop at the farm\, as we could set up a day for that for a ~$90 class fee. \nThis event is held on a farm\, wear shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting muddy.
