Design Your Own Socks

Description: Portable, versatile, and universally beloved by recipients, socks can be addicting for any knitter. Now, you can save yourself forever from sock burnout by making each pair unique! We’ll cover the basics of sock anatomy and sock math, then use a handy one-page worksheet to plan a pair just for you using your favorite yarn, stitch pattern, and size. Expect our first class to be very math-heavy (don’t worry, you won’t have to do any of it alone!) and come prepared to tackle knitting the heel and gusset during week two.
Note: if you’ve never knitted basic socks before, you might want to take the Basic Socks on Two Circs class first! Or consider Two at a Time Socks in July.
This class is two sessions, Saturday, September 6 & 20, 1 – 3pm Central
Difficulty Level: Intermediate (basic sock knitting experience recommended, but not required)
Instructor Name: Emily Hinds
