Basics of Double Weaving on a Rigid Heddle
October 5 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm CDT
$90Description: Do you want to learn how to weave a wider project than your loom width? Join us for the basics of Double Weaving. Double weaving is a process that lets you weave two connected layers on loom. We will cover warping the loom and weaving both layers of fabric.
Please note that there will be a break for lunch. This class may go over-time, please make allowances for that possibility.
You will need to have a loom that can accommodate two heddles. We do have a few looms that meet the requirement you can rent for $20. You can apply the $20 fee toward looms or heddles within a week after the class.
Difficulty Level: Must know basic warping and weaving.
